The new model comes equipped with new 4-cylinder turbo engine with direct injection gasoline and diesel, dual clutch transmission and a new manual and 10 new systems of care standard.
Starting with the list of engines, the basic model, B180 BlueEFFICIENCY will be offered with 1.6-liter gasoline engine that produces 122 horsepower (90 kW), while the Mercedes B200 BlueEFFICIECY is offered with the same engine that develops 156 horses but power (115 kW). Mercedes B Class Both versions 2012 B200 B180 and come equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and fuel their consumption is 5.9 liters per 100 km with CO2 emission value of 137 and 138 grams per km respectively.
As for diesel models, B180 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model comes equipped with a 1.8 liter engine that produces 109 horsepower (80 kW) and has a consumption of 4.4 liters per 100 km with CO2 emission value of 114 g / km. The same 1.8-liter engine equips Mercedes B200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model, but if this value rises to 136 in power horsepower (100 kW) and consumption remained the same as that of the B180 CDI (4.4 l/100km and 115 g . km CO2).
All these engines can be connected to the new dual clutch transmission 7G-DCT option offered at a price of Euro 2165. This transmission has been improved and comes with its pump technology thanks Start Stop Oil electronically controlled.
The list of standard safety systems offer new Mercedes B Class Collision Prevention system 2012 includes ATTENTION ASSIST and ASSIST, and optional machine can be equipped with PRE-SAFE system for the amount of 329.70 Euro.
Mercedes B Class 2012 new price starts from 26.001 Euro for B180 BlueEFFICIENCY version and reach 29.809 Euro B200 CDI BE version, while BE and B180 B200 CDI models BE come to that price 27.935 Euro and 27.578 Euro.
