Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6

Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6. Mercedes-Benz Teased New Maybach 6 Coupe. After sometimes with no new car to release, Mercedes-Benz has teased new Maybach coupe recently on their Facebook page. The teaser photo shows nothing clear so far. With too few specs to be identified, Maybach makes perfect teaser draw attention from the market. Here is the complete detail on the new coupe sedan.

The most valuable detail on this new coupe recently is on its size. Noted on with teaser title, this new Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Coupe is mentioned to be “almost 6 meters of ultimate luxury.” It means the new coupe will be nearly six meters long, which is a huge number for a single row seat coupe. The A-pillar seems to get the Maybach badge while the complete details remain the mystery. The roof looks sloppy with its doors mirrors look very small.

It is almost too small to function as real mirrors. It has very sleek surfaces, and it should highlight its elegant look. With other parts, but the top of the car, remain darkened in the photo, we know nothing else about the specs. It looks stunning though with its maroon finish, but it is estimated to be a heavy car.

WORLD PREMIERE 80 YEARS AGO: IN THE GENES OF THE E-CLASS: THE MERCEDES-BENZ 170 V OF 1936

15 February 1936 was an important day for Mercedes-Benz. At the International Automobile and Motorcycle Exhibition (IAMA) in Berlin, the brand presented the newly developed 170 V, an extremely modern vehicle. Brabus Mercedes-Benz C 63

Tuning  programme  gives the C 63 600hp and 800Nm.
With a rated power  output of 600hp, a peak torque of 800Nm, a sprint time of 3.8 seconds from 0-100km/h and a top speed of 300km/h, plus exclusive sporty options from aerodynamic enhancement and wheels to the suspension and the interior:  Brabus presents an extensive tuning program for the new Mercedes C 63S  in a world premiere at the 2015 IAA in Frankfurt am Main.
Be it the sedan or wagon variant, the Brabus  PowerXtra B40 - 600 engine tuning makes the new Mercedes-Benz C 63S even  more a wolf in sheep's clothing. The Brabus engineers used state-of-the-art test rig technology and extensive test drives on racetracks and public roads to develop a performance kit that boosts the power output of the turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 by 90hp.
Brabus adapts a  plug-and-play auxiliary control module to the electronic engine management system. It updates the engine controls with new mapping for injection and ignition while increasing the boost pressure. As a result, rated power output jumps from standard 510hp to 600hp at a low 5,800rpm. At the same time, peak torque grows from 700 to 800Nm, available on a plateau between 1,750 and 4,500rpm. Brabus recommends high-performance motor oil from technology partner Motul.
n concert with the  seven-speed sports transmission, a C 63S sedan with Brabus PowerXtra B40 - 600 performance tuning launches from rest to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The slightly heavier wagon takes just a tenth of a second longer for the same exercise. The top speed of both body styles jumps from 250 to 300km/h.
The strong suites of the Brabus sport exhaust system for the Mercedes C 63S are its sound and its performance. The all-stainless exhaust reduces back pressure and features controlled butterfly valves for an electronically controlled sound management. A switch in the cockpit lets drivers choose between a subtle "coming home" mode and the open position of the butterfly valves for a  markedly powerful exhaust note of the twin-turbo V8.
Reducing aerodynamic lift is of tremendous importance for a car as fast as this. For this reason, the Brabus designers went into the wind tunnel to develop equally efficient and visually stunning bodywork components manufactured from clear-coated carbon with a matte or shiny surface seal. The air outlets in the front fenders add even more emphasis to the sporty-elegant appearance of the C 63S.
In addition, the production front bumper of the sedan and the wagon can be upgraded with a Brabus spoiler lip. Carbon surrounds for the side air intakes give the top-of-the-line C-Class model even more athletic looks. A diffuser and a rear spoiler can make the rear of the sedan even more  aerodynamically effective. Clear-coated carbon covers for the exterior mirrors represent another sporty feature.
The new 20-inch king-sized Brabus Monoblock T wheels play a crucial role in the car's  athletic appearance and further enhanced driving dynamics. The five-spoke wheels with  carbon inlays on each spoke are mounted on the top-of-the-line model of the current C-Class in size 8.5Jx20 on the front axle and in size 9.5Jx20 at the rear. They are shod with Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama high-performance tyres of sizes 255/30ZR20 at the front and up to 275/30ZR20 on the rear axle.
Of course, exclusive interior refinement is also available for all Mercedes C 63 models. The product lineup ranges from stainless-steel scuff  plates with colour-changing backlit Brabus logo and ergonomic aluminium paddle shifters to a speedometer with 340km/h scale.
The company upholstery shop creates Brabus  fine leather  luxury interiors tailored to individual customer preferences from a combination of especially soft yet durable Brabus Mastik leather and Alcantara. Brabus offers wood and carbon trim sets in any desired colour and with a variety of surface  finishes to complement the leather appointments. The Brabus fine leather interior of the show car at the  IAA  2015 is made from all-black leather with mandarin-coloured seams. Appropriately, all chrome body parts are painted in the same black colour as the vehicle.

Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake

Shooting brakes were conceived and crafted to carry people and their assorted gear on hunting trips. Go hunting in the CLS 63 AMG S version and sports cars become fair game. That's preposterous for a luxury vehicle that's the curvaceous offspring of a four-door coupe and a wagon … but the big Merc is a preposterous kind of car.

VALUE
At this end of the market, the "transaction price" can be distinctly different from the sticker price. Which is a good thing when the official cost is $265,145 before on-roads. The money buys the best looking wagon on the market - everyone's tried to copy the CLS look and the shooting brake variant is just as attractive.
It will pack five grown-ups and their luggage in a cabin fitted with premium leather, heated and cooled front seats, tri-zone aircon and a Harman Kardon surround sound system for the digital radio.
It also has the full suite of Mercedes-Benz driver assistance software to keep the occupants safe and aware of their surroundings. And there's nothing else on the market quite like it.

TECHNOLOGY
The 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 is so potent it poisons perceptions of other, lesser engines. Even the naturally aspirated 6.2-litre engine fitted to the latest 507 edition of the C63 AMG can't match its ferocious acceleration or fuel efficiency. Both vehicles hit 100km/h just 4.2 seconds after takeoff but the smaller, lighter C ingests fuel at an official 12 litres every 100 clicks against 10.3Lfor the bigger, bulker CLS.
The AMG multi-clutch auto shifts seamlessly in comfort mode up to a neck-aching surge in the sports setting, giving owners a limousine ride or rocket launch simulation at the flick of the rotary switch between the front seats. The dampers can also be progressively stiffened and the stability control settings loosened or disabled for track work. Track work?

Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo

AMAZING !

Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo, WOW !

For the new PlayStation® 3 racing game Gran Turismo® 6, the Mercedes-Benz designers have developed the visionary concept of a super sports car – the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo. Extreme proportions, sensual contours and intelligently implemented high tech blend to form a breathtaking body. As a 1:1-scale model, the Mercedes-BenzAMG Vision Gran Turismo is celebrating its world premiere at the opening of the new Mercedes-Benz Research & Development Center in Sunnyvale, California.

The sports car proportions that are a typicalMercedes-Benz feature have been reinterpreted: the long bonnet has a flowing transition into a compact greenhouse offset to the rear, which takes the form of an aerodynamically efficient water drop to descend slightly at the rear, where it rests on the rear end with broad shoulder contours. The dynamic aura is accentuated by an extended, dramatic side contour and a pronounced bulge to the wheel arches, which blend into the low-slung, muscular bodyshell. The angled headlamps, with their colour scheme and determined look, convey a sense of sportiness and readiness to leap forward.

Ralph Lauren's 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK

Ralph Lauren's 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK "Count Trossi", a modified version for Italian constructor and racing driver Count Carlo Felice Trossi. The regular SSK took several grand prix victories as well as the 1931 Mille Miglia in Italy. This is less than 40 made (including about 20 just for racing) and could hit 120 mph with its 7.1 litre engine that produced between 200 and 300 hp and over 500 lb-ft of torque.

Princess Diana Paparazzi Car Wreck - 1994 Mercedes-Benz S280

Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales was called the “People’s Princess.” She injected personality, beauty and heart into a Royal bloodline that had grown stale. She was the breath of fresh air the Windsor family needed to reinvigorate their line and excite the public. Coming from a lesser Royal house, Diana didn’t put on any airs — it was easy for people to relate to her and her unassuming nature. In 1981, she married Prince Charles in a fairy tale wedding that was seen by 750 million viewers world-wide. However, the romance was anything but a “fairy tale.” Charles was stuffy, distant and 13 years Diana’s senior — he also remained in love with his former flame, Camilla Parker Bowles. Despite great marital turmoil, Diana gave birth to the Princes William and Harry and raised them in a happy and healthy environment. She also instilled in them her passion for humanitarian causes that spanned the globe. She was not content to be a Royal figurehead — she wanted to make a difference.

Despite being loved unconditionally by the public, Diana was never fully accepted by Queen Elizabeth II, or the rest of the royal family. The unmerciful British Media, who are among the most savage and unrelentingly in the world, picked up on the story and never left her alone. They printed sensational stories filled with lurid affairs and hateful gossip. After a long separation, Diana and Charles finally ended their marriage in 1996. Nevertheless, Diana continued her work in charity and championing many causes, including landmines and AIDS research. The ravenous press, however, would not leave her alone. On August 31, 1997, while fleeing from a pack of hyper-aggressive paparazzi looking to publish another sensational “story,” Diana was involved in a high-speed car chase through the Parisian night. In the confusion, her 1994 Mercedes-Benz S280, which also carried driver Henri Paul and her friend Dodi Fayed, violently crashed killing all three occupants. The “People’s Princess” was dead at the young age of 36. There were inquiries and investigations made, which blamed the accident as a planned murder by the Royal Family, or even the paparazzi for purposively causing the crash to generate headlines. The inquisitions were called off out of respect for Diana’s young children, but it’s likely that there is some truth to both theories. Princess Diana may have died, but her legacy lives with the Princes William and Harry, and Will’s wife Kate Middleton. They continue her work in humanitarian causes and give the family of Windsor a much needed positive identity. Now grown, both young men have their mother’s charm, brains, bright personality and grounded demeanor that endears them to supporters around the world.

1945 Mercedes Grosser 770 - Hitler’s 7 Armored Limousines

Hitler was evil incarnate. He brought death and destruction to everything he touched. His rap-sheet is long and dark, filled with the absolute worst that mankind has to offer — mass murder, torture and genocide. He was a monster whose actions resulted in horrors beyond imagination, including the death of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust. The Nazis started as a radical fringe group during Germany’s crippling economic depression following the first world war. The cultural landscape in Germany had devolved into poverty, paranoia, fear and desperation — it was the perfect storm for disaster. Adolf Hitler quickly rose through the ranks of the Nazi party by eliminating his enemies. Then the Nazis took over the political structure of Germany itself by playing to the fears of the masses. He was the Pied-Piper from Hell. Hitler turned Germany into a war factory bent on world domination.

Despite his influence and support, Hitler was the target of many internal assassination attempts by Germans who wanted the “Fuhrer” dead. They were afraid Hitler’s military campaigns and his plans of a Jewish genocide would destroy Germany forever. From 1933 to 1944, over 40 attempts were made on Hitler’s life by Germans, the most famous being Operation Valkyrie. For increased security, Hitler was driven in a rotation of seven armored limousines, the 1945 Mercedes Grosser 770.

Mercedes designed the car specifically for Hitler and his staff. Each was completely armored and bullet-proof, weighed 4 tons and could reach 93.2 mph. It sported a 225 horsepower engine, and featured a rotational armored plate in the back that could be raised to protect passengers. There were also secret compartments to store extra pistols.

One of the cars is now on display in the Canadian War Museum. Hitler met his end in 1945 after shooting himself in an underground bunker while the city of Berlin burned. The city’s remaining population of unprotected women and children were left to face the ruthless atrocities committed by the invading Soviet Red Army. They would be Hitler’s final victims.
